Something Wrong, Bad or Funny

I have decided to dedicate this blog post to the pictures I've taken that I'd normally erase, or embarrassing, looks weird, never post, laugh hysterically at, and THEN erase.
#1 The Easter Bunny
Yes, just a creepy in the picture as it was in person. This was taken at our Ward Easter Activity. I actually had a contest with my Primary-Presidency girls on who could take the most awkward picture with him. "That" picture wasn't taken with my camera so therefor I can't publish it. Be grateful.
As you can see Gavin will not allow me to let him down. Just look at the Bunny's face, seriously cracks me up. Creepy.
#2 The boys with Gavin's Easter present. Yes, both their eyes are shut or squinted. This is my moms worst nightmare. I thought it was fitting for the Post.
#3 Take a look and figure out why I laughed when I saw it. Is it inappropriate? Classless? Tasteless? Yes. But still funny.
#4 Ronin's little pink cheeks, button nose, and hand up reminds me of a little munchkin from the Wizard of Oz. OR, an Oompa-Loompa. I'll let you pick which one he resembles most. Secondly, I'm wearing the pink shirt Matt was modeling in the last post. I think I may have to sneak the pink shirt in somewhere every time now.....keep your eyes peeled.
#5 Oh the hair. I'll be honest this picture isn't horrible but the hair is! This is taken 6 hours after I spent 30 mins trying to do Something, ANYTHING with it. I will not be posting another picture of this horrible hair color and cut until it's fixed, which will be another 6-weeks. This is one of those YUCK moments where the hair stylist didn't do what I asked. It's just hair, no biggie, but I don't like it...at all. Breath it in bloggers, cause its the first and last time you'll be seeing the grossness that is my weird, not so brown, not so blond hair.
#6 My eyes. One red eye, nice touch.
#7. Hilarious. Made me smile and laugh when I saw this. I have no idea what is going through his mind or what he's thinking but whatever it is, it was short lived. This look (thoughtful, quiet, reserved) is not the personality of Gavin. Oh no. And so for its blatant deceit it deserves a spot.
#8 Ronin on the look out. Is it me or does it seem like he's thinking, "I know what you're doing, don't even try to put one past me, I've got my eye on you."
#9 Sorry, but its true. Gavin looks like his going potty and Ronin has the crazy eyes. Again pictures you normally wouldn't post.
So there it is folks. An insight to the Rudolph's you normally don't see. Just remember when you see pictures you think are cute or sweet, there are about 10 others that aren't so perfect!

April 2012

Club Dance. This is the class I mentioned in the last Blog. This picture was taken about 5 minutes before class started last Monday. The line goes all the way to the door. :)
Makes me happy to see so many people come out to dance with me. I love it!
Ok, on to more "cute" things. #1 This is sir Ronin. He is also known as Mr. Happy, chunk-a-monk and Moto Moto. These days he loves to watch his brother throw fits, crawl any where he can get, snuggle, and eat big people food.#2 Cute thing. Matt in a pink shirt. Hilarious. We actually took this picture to get an idea of what size he needed. So no, this is NOT his shirt, it's mine. We were using it as a reference and I kept the picture. I will say, he makes it look oh so good. ;) Love you Baba!
Little chompers and big blue eyes. Gets me every time. Oh my word I love this little boy. Sad thing, he's pretty sick right now. Has the worst flemmy-cough ever. I feel so bad when he pukes after coughing and gagging on his own mucous. Poor Baby!
One of many Superman pictures to come. We have so many clothes for Gavin, SO many. But he insists on wearing his Superman or Batman jammies everyday. He loves to pretend he's Superman and even has a deep, slow voice he talks in while he's pretending.
Happy brothers. Gavin is really good with Ronin, most of the time. Although a little rough here and there, he does love him and likes making him laugh.
Superman and Robin. (Gavin named him that) Funny, we were having our Family Home Evening, and I spent a good 5-minutes talking about being a child of God. Sang the song, showed him pictures of other kids who are "children of God," even asked if mama, dada and Ronin were children of God. He answered yes to all of them. But when it came to him, he looked at me defiantly and said, "NO! I am Superman."
Ok, so we got snow in the middle of March. LAME! But Gavin loved it. I actually started to make the Snow man with him until Dada came home and took over. (He did a way better job) He was really excited to make a snowman, jumping up and down and helping pile it on. I'll give you one guess as to what Christmas cartoon we "HAD" to watch that evening....
Bath time. Ronin loves to be in the bath. I honestly haven't found anything he really doesn't like. The only down fall is he has really dry skin so we have to DRENCH him in lotion afterwards. Poor guy. Other then that, perfect! I feel blessed to have such a happy and cute babe!
And now for your viewing pleasure, his royal strongness....Superman! He was very precise on his modeling and wanted to make sure I took a lot of pictures. And yes, he does go and get his underwear and put it on himself!
Flip! He's really into flipping these days, most of the time on the ground but an occasional couch flip. Gosh this kid is happy when he's superman.
About to blast me with his laser eyes, and yes he has sound effects that go with it.
Superman get caught in the rain?! Nope, no today . He's ready to face any enemy including the Oregon weather.
This is so funny. He posed for this and held it for like 20 seconds while I got the camera ready. He really wanted this picture taken...and I can see why. It really shows his versatile side. :)
I love my boys, they are a huge joy to my heart. Sure there are days when I want to pull my hair out, (Gavin has been testing me lately) but I can smile to myself.
Good Example: Today I pushed the cart in the grocery store with one adorable son sitting in the front seat grinning ear-to-ear at me, while the other was lying stomach-down on the very bottom, arms straight out, dressed head to toe in superman jammies, humming the superman song. It made getting milk a little more thrilling and caught the attention of no less then 10 grandmas and grandpas in the store.

March Madness

March is here. In case you haven't heard we started the month with a program me and two other awesome people created called Club Dance. Its a hip-hop, pop dance class. We had a blast!! The first night kick off we rocked 188 people in one room. (which I believe is a club record)

Loved it. Excited to keep teaching and see who else comes. Starting March 23rd I'll be teaching at West Salem, (Fri at 5:30) which is fun because they haven't been exposed to any of it yet. Whooo hooo.

Ok, on to even better things. My happy little man. I know I say that every time I post. But it's true. He is such a good boy. Not crawling yet but really, really close. Kicks, and scoots, but his real favorite, log rollin' all over the place!

This is funny. Instead of his top two front teeth coming in, his fangs are in first. So he has 2 bottom teeth, and his little fangs on top. He's a little vampire, (Edward) in the making. He does like having his teethies because he LOVES adult food over baby food any day!

Ok, so the other night Gavin ran to the fridge and said he was getting some cheese. I thought he was going to pick out a string cheese like he always does but instead, he grabbed the entire block of mozzarella. And he was downing it! Huge bites and loving every bit of it. Here he is sharing with Dada on the couch.

You can totally see the big bite marks.

Ronin, I mean Green Lantern, about to save the world, or pee his diaper. One of the two.

While I was taking Ronin's picture, I heard the piano in the back. I thought maybe Gavin was playing again (aka, climbing to sit on the top and be silly in the mirror). But it seems he was helping me clean and organize. I thought it was worth a photo as well. He was very proud of his efforts.

Dada and the boys. They love him. Almost as much as I do.

Ronin and his daddy. Sorry it's blurry. I dropped our other camera in the bath tub, so we are using our old one. I think I'm hexed when it comes to cameras. I've gone through 3 in 3 years. Yikes. But, this old one works so no complaint's.

Ok, so Gavin has been sleeping on his Lightning McQueen couch-bed for the last 2-months. He loves it and given the choice, (which we do every night and nap-time) he chooses to sleep on this, instead of his big-boy bed. Now that he's older he's taking forever to go to bed, becoming a little master mind on what to say so he doesn't have to sleep. For example, "I have to go potty"(gets him out of bed every time) , "I wanna talk with you, I wanna see you, I love you, I need water and, It's too dark"... even though we leave the bathroom light on. Anyway, by the time he falls asleep over an hour, sometimes 2-hours later, he usually looks like this.

In the last month my oven broke and my dryer broke. Needless to say I was bummed, sad, and somewhat confused as to what to do with myself being unable to bake anything for over a week. Thankfully, my hubby came to the rescue and fixed both of them, after parts were ordered and arrived. This is Ronin, "Delegating tasks, and overseeing the project."

Gavin and Dad working hard to repair the oven.

He was really excited to help. Until he broke something else off the side, and Matt had to fix that too. What can you do?! It was still cute and we enjoyed the family fix-it time.

Finally, its Friday, I have used my dryer now 5x today, seeing how I couldn't use it for a whole week. We had a ton of laundry and I'm really grateful to have a working washer and dryer. I'm hoping to have a wonderful date night with the hubby tomorrow before he leaves to California for 9 days for work, (golf, swimming, going out to lunch, movies, and yes, some meetings....)

Birthday and Valentines

Gavin is officially 3 years-old! I can't believe it, but it's ture. And we celebrated in style. Our really good family friend (Ken Bay) is the owner of a great pizza parlor here in Salem (Pietroes). He graciously set us up with a pirate Birthday Package to bring in Gavin's 3rd Birthday. It was amazing!

The entire table had pirate decorations, swords, hats, eye-patches and 100 tokens for every little one. Not to mention, their own pizza, free mini golf, lazer tag, ice cream, balloons, and drinks. It was better than anything I could have done, and the kids loved it!!!

As you can see, the kids weren't the only people who had a good time. My dad, Matt, and Gavin went on this motion, roller coaster ride. It was pretty fun, and I wouldn't be lying when I say my dad went on it 2 more times with other grand kids. He'll say he went with them to make sure they felt safe, but we all know the real reason. :)

We invited family to Gavin's birthday, so of course, Kirk, Melissa and Baby Kalli (Gavin's future wife) came as well. We love our besties. They even cancelled a trip to Seattle to come.

AMAZING FRIENDS.
Ok, this is the hat and eye patch I was telling you about. Gavin really, really wanted to wear it but it kept getting stuck over his other eye. It was pretty funny, but he insisted he wear it.

The happy little brother and Grandma. Im grateful for my parents. While I was getting Gavin all set with his games and toys, prizes, pizza, ice cream, ect.... my Mom and Dad took great care of Ronin. He is such a good baby.

Gavin LOVES superman, if you didn't already know. Superman, Batmn, Iron Man and Green Lantern. But his all time favorite is Superman. So he kept asking for a Superman Cake almost every day up until his birthday. And wouldn't you know it, my oven broke the week before. Thankfully a wonderful friend and neighbor let me use her oven the night before. Thanks Heidi. This cake all came together because of you.

Ronin sporting the pirate hat with Grandpa. Happy, cute dudes if you ask me.

This is so funny. I love this picture. Aaron and Emily drove all the way down from Portland just to come to Gavin's party. Emily fell asleep on the way, so when they arrived she was still tired. Although she has the hat on, has pizza, and is awaiting a fun time of games, she wasn't ready to wake up yet. So cute!

Cousin Ashley on the other hand was ready. Always ready to play and of course, get her picture taken. I think she looks like Jenilyn when she was younger.

Gavin and I. Three years ago I had him. Wow, I feel old and hate the fact that time is only going to go by faster from here on out.

Dada and Ronin. Matt helped out so much. There were times I was making sure everything was being taken care of, and then I'd turn and see Matt handeling the boys so I wouldn't have to worry. Such a studly man. And No, Ronin is not drinking Pepsi, just nibbeling a cup.
Gavin opening up some of his presents. Kirk and Melissa got him that Green lantern mask and he LOVED it. Wouldn't take it off. Even the next day (which was Sunday) I had to bribe him to take it off for church.

Sunday morning, (Feb 12th) Gavin's real birthday, we had pancakes to celebrate. He loved the 3 and kept saying over and over again, "I eat the 3? I eat it?! I will eat the 3!"

The hansome Rudolph boys eating lunch church. We have Sacrament at 12:30 so we eat before we go, which isn't too bad except for they're messing eaters. :)

And Gavin doesn't like to share, unless it's with Superman.

Oh my word, I had to put this on here. It was so cute. Ronin was nakey and so Gavin wanted to be nakey too. I promise we don't let our kids run around naked very often, but it was his birthday so we let him. The first thing he did? Lay down right next to his brother.

That night, we had just a small family celebration, with yes, another cake. Gavin just woke up from his nap in this picture, but was happy when he got his Batman soap and Batman fruit snacks.

Birthday boy and his sword. My sister won this for him at his party playing some game where she won 100 tickets....3x in a row! I told her she was an addict to arcade games, (which she now admits) but Gavin loved the outcome. It lights up and makes sounds which is perfect for him. Sorry the picture is fuzzy, he kept moving.

We had a nice quiet Valentines Day, and when I got hom that evening I had 3 heart-boxes of Chocolate, a big one, a medium one, and wee-small one. 1 from each of my "Valentines."

I love my boys. We just got back from spending the weekend at the coast, which was good...and bad. It had it's great moments, butttt, we've had better. I'll have to update later. Just for the record it's always nice to get away with 3 super cute men who I love the mosest!

I will never tire of that.
