End of 2011

Happy New Year. Ok, I know I'm a little late but we've been busy, in a good way, but busy none the less.

So for the new year, we went to Eugene to have our Family Christmas with my parents and siblings. That night, at the stroke of midnight, my mama, sister and I began our first New Years Race. (Matt was driving to the Rose bowl with the tickets I got him for Christmas.) I ran the 10k, and they walked the 5k. I was really proud of them, seeing how we were all tired and feeling "blah" from all the holiday eating. But it was a lot of fun, and mom happily pronounced this was our new tradition. I'm excited. I loved running in the dark right by the river with all the mini flashlights, glow sticks, and noisemakers. The highlight, having an 8th grader think I was in high school and wanting to run with me! Ohhh yeah, this mama's still got it, even if it is creepy and disturbing.

Ok, this was actually before the race. See how happy we look?! I won't post the after picture when my sister looks like she would kill a baby dear just to get some sleep. She was such a trooper though. Never complained and finished smiling.
Hands down one of my favorite pictures. Gavin picked this out for Ronin at a second-hand store. Totally worth the $4. He looks so cute!

Family Christmas. Gavin gets his Bat Cave. He loves playing with it, and his Bat mobile.
Gavin watching his Superman movie with his Batman and Superman. I thought it was so funny because he was "talking" as superman, making sure everyone could see. Then when Superman would come on, he would say in a low voice, "Look it's me, there I am Batman!"

Christmas morning. Gavin was excited and loved unwrapping his presents. He did such a good job giving presents to Dada and Ronin. He may have loved watching them open thier gifts more then opening his own. Such a good boy.

Checking out their stockings....Oooo looks good.T'was the night before Christmas and all thru our space, my son had no clothing,

so he covered his face. Oh so embarrassing.

I realized I have about 200 pictures of Gavin sleeping as a baby, but only a few of Moto-moto(thats his nick-name from Madagascar 2. Check it out if you don't know who he his.) . I took this at the end of December. He is such a good sleeper.....as long as his brother isn't yelling.

Long story short. I was cleaning the floors, stopped to put Ronin down for his nap, came downstairs and found this. Long deep breath. I made a note to myself: Kristi, pay close attention to your 2-year-old.

This picture needs no introduction. He's prefect!

Dear Gentleman of the world, if you feel self conscious about your body do not look at the next picture. Such a male physique has never before been seen, and this masculine, perfect shape may send you into a deep depression. Personal discretion is advised.

We took the boys swimming yesterday and this was right before. He must have heard us talking about it because he looks pretty excited. OR, he could be this happy all the time. I'll let you decide. And finally, me new hair cut. Matt told me to give a pretty smile, but instead I gave a huge, stupid, over-the top grin, and it looked freaky. So you get my "pouty" face. You're welcome bloggers. It ended up being shorter then I anticipated, but I think I like it.
